One of the objectives in going to India was to help our partners with some technology tools for ministry. I brought a laptop to use during the conference, with the intension to give it away after the conference to one of our Indian partners. All during the week I was praying that I would be able to discern who would be the best individual to use this laptop most effectively for ministry. Several days into the conference I met Lhunsei Kipgen from Manipur state of India. He was sharing his ministry report and I was immediately convinced that he was the one to give the laptop to.

I will summarize his work, but then you can hear from him in his own words. He works among native Manipur tribal people and they do not speak English. While helping with church planting he has understands the need to get discipleship and study tools in their native language. He started translating a book with permission, and hand wrote the entire book and borrowed a computer (much older system) to type all the writings in, and halfway into the book the computer crashed and he lost it all. He has finally completed the first book and has hand written two more to be typed and printed up to help the growing church there in Manipur.

When I asked him if this is something that he would be interested in, he started to cry and expressed that he and many others had been praying that he would be able to get a computer to be able to produce more books to help the church grow. How humbled I was to help be an answer to their prayers. God is the provider!!! Please read his letter to me and praise God for how He provides. Letter from Lhunsei Kipgen:

My name is Lhunsei Kipgen from Manipur state of India. I am a married man. I went to Bible College and graduate M.Div. degree from NEIBBC &S Silchar. After completing my theological study I start involving in Church planting ministry. While involved in Church planting ministry, I clearly realized that many of the pastors and church leaders are laymen and can’t understand gospel books written in English or in any other languages, therefore I have a big burden to translate Gospel books into our dialect so that their will stand firm in the true doctrine of the Bible and minister effectively in their own ministry, . I started translating books, I took permission from Pastor Chris Hindal ,Director International Christian Literature Service(USA) to permit me to translate “Doctrine and Administration of the Church” by Paul E Jackson, into Thadou Kuki language, with a hard labour and prayer the book is ready to be print out into book. And also I had completed two more books on the next written by hand to be print out. I am praying to God that He will give me knowledge, strength and more ability to write more books for the indigenous/nationals workers for the Glory of God.

While executing my vision which God gave me, I have a big problem not in translation or writing but in printing, as I don’t have my own personal computer and also printing materials. I am praying to God(Jehovah-jireh) to speak to someone who can provide me, God answer my prayer and speak to Bro.Chris Brown,Director, TechPartner ministry.I really praise the lord. May God bless him with a shower of blessing in his endeavour for God’s glory.
