2 years ago:  With two years in the books, I am continually amazed at how God has orchestrated this ministry, and I am privileged to be a part of it.  We have seen our ups and downs, slow times and busy times,

We have accepted our second intern.  Our internship is one part of our 4 main goals; Mobilize.  We want to help guys serve the Lord with their technology abilities.  Lance is helping develop many of the tools we have been waiting to create.
I find great joy Solving tech problems or enhancing ministry they are currently doing, or opening their eyes to new areas of possibilities through technology.
We need more churches to desire a partnership with our ministry and commit to take techPartner on for monthly prayer and financial support.   God is able to do above and beyond more than I could ask or think, to Him be the Glory.  We will continue to remain faithful and pursue the paths He puts in front of us.
10 years ago:we started on the path of missionary-supported servants to help missionaries, ministries, and churches and pastors around the world with using technology to further the great commission.  Fifteen churches and about twenty individuals make up our current ministry support team.  We could not do this ministry without them praying and giving each month.   We are currently around 85% of our monthly needs.

Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas will be here before we know it. Then 2012 will hit and another year will be in the books for techPartner. I can’t thank our God and Savior enough for His indescribable gift of salvation. And if that wasn’t enough, He has given me the opportunity to serve Him with this ministry to the church globally with a focus on technology to help missions, ministries, and churches. I am excited about this year as we increase our staff and the resources we will be able to offer.

Ministry Highlights:

  • Nathan Babcock is coming back to techPartner full time and will pursue this ministry as a place to serve the Lord with his talents and abilities.
  •  I met with Lance Harkleroad – Brooklyn Baptist Church, about the possibilities of an internship for 2012. He is a specialist in web coding and would help techPartner develop tools we have desired to complete. He will help remotely and continue to work part time to support himself. Mobilizing individuals to serve is a huge part of who techPartner is.

What’s coming up with techPartner?

North American Missions Congress – Sept. 27-29, 2011
The NAMC is a conference designed to explore God's glory in missions among nations, cross-cultural church planting/ministries, missions partnerships, stewardship, and tent-making missions here in North America. It will be held at Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis, Indiana. We will be coordinating the technology for the main sessions and many of the breakout sessions. We will also be coordinating a breakout for the use of technology in missions here in North America. You can see more
information at http://namc.partnersministry.com.ph/

Ghana IPFBM conference – Oct. 1 – 10, 2011
In early October we will be sending Nathan Babcock (tP intern) to Ghana, West Africa. He will be helping the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministry regional conference. This is a conference designed to help equip church leaders, pastors, missionaries and laymen in effective church ministries. TechPartner will help oversee and execute all technology needs for the sessions, training these leaders with effective technology usage, and interact one-on-one for specific technology needs on this mission field.
We will also be giving away a laptop and two digital video projectors for ministry use there in Ghana. We will be using these tools during the conference and then giving them away to leaders who show a specific need for these tools. We currently have a brand new laptop (donated by an individual), and will be looking for financial donations from others to help purchase the projectors to take with us. An Awana club will be helping to purchase these projectors to give away. Along with those needs, we also need to raise around $1500 to cover the airfare for Nathan as he travels to help with this very important conference.

Here is a word from the IPFBM conference director - “Putting on a conference in Africa without a media expert could be disastrous. Knowing that techPartner will take care of the sound system, projectors, manage PowerPoint, and troubleshoot in the event of problems brings me a lot of peace of mind. I also appreciate their contribution in training nationals to be more effective in their use of media.” Chris Hindal – Director of GARBC International

On the Brown Home Front:
• Our kids are back to school (Kara 8th, Lauryn 6th, Dax 1st)
• Cole has conquered our slide in our tree house
• Kara is involved in volleyball, and Lauryn is in soccer
• Piano lessons will be underway soon
• Family “beach” vacation with Amy’s entire family soon to be upon us

We continue to help missionaries, church planters, international pastors with technology tools, websites, and resources for ministry. I want to thank all those who continually support us on a monthly basis. We are currently in need of finding churches interested in partnering with us for ministry. Please spread the word about techPartner. Thanks again for your prayer support. It is our desire that techPartner is a ministry that glorifies God, and effectively helps others carry out the Great Commission.

Making Memories Along the Journey
We are getting involved in our local church, and looking forward to doing a children’s outreach in our neighborhood next month. I am preparing messages from Romans 8 for Junior High campers at Camp Bayouca in Central NY on July 25-29.
We spent some family time touring our country on our trip to Colorado for the GARBC national conference. It was pretty amazing to see such variety in our beautiful country. We stopped and visited the Badland National Park, Mount Rushmore, a Wilderness Safari Park, and Adventures in Odyssey in Colorado Springs. On our travels home, after staying with some new friends in Pueblo, we visited longtime friends in ministry in Princeton, Indiana, and one of our supporting churches (First Baptist of Princeton). After 3009 miles and a whole lot of snacks we arrived home to continue serving in our role with techPartner.

Please continue to pray as techPartner grows and needs more support in manpower and in financial giving to enable us to keep up with the ministry needs of technology for the Great Commission. We are in need of adding staff to help fulfill our mission, but we currently don’t have the funds. We continually praise God for your faithfulness in prayers and financial support. If you receive this newsletter and do not currently support techPartner, please consider becoming a financial partner. Without our donors, we could not exist to continue to server mission, ministries and our global leaders who are on the front line of ministry.
