International Partnership Ministry Trip Feb. 2011
I have the opportunity to travel to North Eastern India to help out at the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries Conference in the middle of February 2011. We helped out last year when it was in Bangkok, Thailand and ran the entire technological side of the conference, taught workshops and answered many questions about technology usage in ministry. It was such a blessing to be among over 200 international partners from over 17 different countries. Chris Hindal, Director of GARBC International, is on the board of this ministry and has asked me to help during this conference.

Knowing that Chris Brown will take care of the sound system, projectors, manage PowerPoint, and troubleshoot in the event of problems brings me a lot of peace of mind. Urgent Need: We need around $1500 for the flight cost and $2000 for the tools (two laptops and two projectors) we will use for the conference and then give away to some Indian pastors and the Bible College there in the North Eastern part of India.
Happy 1st Anniversary
First year anniversary of techPartner is coming upon us. What are some of the things that we have accomplished?
- applied for our non-profit status
- created several online tools for ministry usage
- helped many churches, missionaries and internationals with technology for ministry
- 6 personalized outreach videos
- and so much more (you can follow us on our website)
Goals for 2011 (based on our mission statement):
- Equip – make available all our media resources online for church plants/ missionaries / ministries to use + finish followthemup.com
- Train – host a T4M – Tech for Ministry conference at the techPartner office complex to area churches and pastors. It will give helpful tips and tools for using technology in ministry.
- Service – implement and online support system to regulate ministry technology support for missions / churches / ministries
- Mobilize – Create an internship program and invite one volunteer to join techPartner for a 6 month time period and help further the ministry
Needs:
- Pray about a designer who would be interested in joining techPartner and BCP as a career in ministry
- Airfare to Meghalaya, India for International Conference $1500
- Equipment (projectors / laptops) to leave as gifts to local pastors and Bible college $2000
- Volunteers to paint our photo/video studio here at the techPartner office
- We are looking for an RV to use (rent) this summer to travel from Ohio to the GARBC conference in Denver CO. We thought it would be great to incorporate some family vacation time and see some sights along our way to the conference.
